As a Business Development Manager you will take full ownership of your Platform network in the Americas region, working alongside the account management Platform team and you will be responsible for the long term growth of both existing and prospective clients.&Your
Establish long-term profitable business relationships with our Platform on the Americas regionTeam up with the Account Management Team to deliver the best of our monetisation and recommendation solutions to our Platform according to their needsWork closely with our technical team to make sure our solutions can support new supply typesFind new growth opportunities and close deals with new PlatformsForecast our growth and identify our needs, working closely with our Finance TeamNegotiate complex distribution contracts with Platforms, alongside our Legal team supportWork closely with our Programmatic team to set up Programmatic direct deals with Platforms&Winning Factors:Focus on getting things done in a fast-moving and very challenging publisher environmentAbility to constantly collaborate with other Outbrain departments (Account Management, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Technical) to achieve your goalA strong ability to juggle with numbers, forecasts, reporting and legal aspects of the roleA very open minded and curious person regarding all new digital usage&Essential Skills and Experience:5 years+ experience, minimum 2 years digital experience preferably within the Telecommunications industryYou are a modelling and forecasting expert and understand the numbersExperience in structuring and negotiating deals for a digital company or deals where an online component and revenue were centralStrong experience in identifying trends in data and in generated reportsExperience of working in the Platform digital media industry and understand the digital ecosystemSolid understanding of digital technologies/site monetization and ability to explain product benefits in detailOutstanding interpersonal, presentation and sales skills.
Excellent relationship building abilities and experience in contract negotiations
